Day 4

Happy Halloween.  I'm not sure what is going on tonight, but I'm suppose to be going to party with a friend.  I promise I won't get too intoxicated.  I don't even know what I'm going to wear.  I will pull something down from the attic and see how creative I can be.  I was also invited to two other parties but because of the traffic, I don't really want to go to them.  Hopefully the first party will be happening!  Boo!

Day 3

I received a phone call from Central Casting today.  The casting agent wanted to use my car for an Aftra TV Show.  Aftra is one of the actor's unions and is the lesser one.  The job starts Monday morning. I hope they call back: haven't booked it.

I also discussed with a friend about the new Cohen Brother film, A Serious Man.  What a great film!  All the characters have been polished and the story is a little out there but it's sure is funny.  I highly recommend it.  The film is about a Jewish family in the 60's and the central character have some major problems all coming at one time.  The characters are real people.  Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iggyFPls4w&feature=player_embedded

I'm looking forward to tomorrow Monster batch party.  I'm not dressing up in costume, but then again I always say this and it doesn't happen. If I take any photos, I'll post them up.

Day 2

October 29, 2009 10:20pm

I had a great experience at Central Casting, the extra service casting agency.  Around 100 people registered today. The agency registration hours are on Tuesdays and Thursday from 10:30 - 11:30 am.  It took me two hours to register, felt as if I was inside the DMV; I mean they even had that government attitude; however, it made the experience more memorable. ;)

Day 1

What an epiphany I had earlier this morning! I'm excited to say that "I am excited". I just got back from Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT film/concert. I'm telling you, we lost a great Master, but his music lives in us. I learned that Michael was a true genius.

My crtique from Milton Katselas, "All you need is to believe".

BELIEVE -  ACCEPT AS TRUTH
Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Carlos Moreno Jr. and I'm from a small town, San Juan, in Texas. I was born into poverty and worked in the fields of Michigan since the age of 12 harvesting fruits and vegetables every Summer. It was in these long Summer days of the 80's, where for hours I would have conversations with myself. Scary enough to be talking to oneself but the thing was that you had over 8 - 12 hours of isolation at work. This caused me to drift into a make believe land where I thought of the possibilities life could offer; the possibility of becoming an artist, THE ACTOR.
